Fender / Super Amp / 1949 / Tweed / Amp For Sale
I think Fender might have been the first to offer a guitar amplifier with more than one speaker in 1946. It was this model but initially named the Dual Professional. The amp was re named Super a moment later. This one is from early 1949. The speakers are original and dated late 1948, the pots are early 1949. This amp is pretty complete and original except that someone else has varnished or painted over the tweed. This is the rare early non diagonal style tweed you see on the 1940s models. The tweed can still be well seen but the amp is somewhat brown looking. I have not tried to clean it. The amp is working but may need to be serviced. Some of the parts are very ancient.
