Here we have a stunning 1963 Fender Telecaster - original "pre-CBS".
It is a true player which has been refinished to natural years ago.
Fender electic guitars from before 1965 are probably the most legendary electric guitars in the world. Leo Fender started producing these guitars for the broad public in 1952.
The production until 1965 (Pre-CBS phase) took place under very high quality controls, small quantities and with the best materials. Therefore these guitars are very popular among players and collectors.
This guitar was built in 1963 and has been played a lot. Years ago the neck has been refretted and the whole guitars has been refinished and restored.
Lets talk about the parts of it in detail:
- original neck (date June 1963) and original tuners, refretted and refinished
- original body stripped to natural and refinished
- original bridge pickup
- reissue neck pickup (GFS vintage Telecaster Alnico)
- pots date to 1963
- replacement pickguard
- relict bridge
It is a players guitar and not suitable for a collector. During all these year the guitar has been played and the modification listed above were necessary due to wear.
The guitar has recently been adjusted and checked - it now plays great, wit a low action and a straight neck.
