 2011 Fender Special Run Indiana Barn Telecaster from the Telebration Series. This limited edition Tele was one of a very small handful (300) of Telecasters in Fender's NAMM 2011 "Telebration".

This guitar is made from Old Pine salvaged from a barn over 100 years old in Indiana. '52 Hot Rod Telecaster Neck (9.5" Radius, medium jumbo frets), hand rubbed oil finish, Vintage '62 pickups. Similar to a 52 reissue but with a really light pine body from a 100-year-old barn in Indiana. Finished with a really thin and unsealed layer of whitewash - a finish that won't be to everyone's taste and one that already has signs of wear with light use.
Pickups are 60's spec and combined with the pine body the guitar has an airiness that is difficult to describe. I'd describe it as a more hi-fi sound but again, it's all subjective. The neck is similar to a 50's hot rod neck. Thick U-shape but with a flatter radius. I have a 52RI for comparison and it's close but a little more manageable.
Apparently, they only made approx. 300 of these as there wasn't as much wood in the barn as Fender thought! Comes with original case (pictures) which is in perfect condition and is a kinda cool cream colour. All case candy included also.To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the fender Telecaster, the company launched a series of 12 Telebration Telecasters at the Winter 2011 NAMM show.
Each of the 12 guitars would be produced in a limiuted run of 500 pieces with the exception of two that would be limited to 300 pices.
The fourth guitar in the series was the Old Pine Telecaster. Originally to be called the Indian Barn Telecaster, it was to be made from salvaged Pine from a 100+ year old barn. But again like the Brown's Canyon Tele not enough wood of suitable quality could be used so other sources of old gaed pine had to be found. Limited to 300 guitars

Realizzata nell'unica colorazione a olio, stesa e rifinita a mano, denominata White Wash, la Fender Tele-Bration Old Pine Telecaster mira all'essenza e la funzionalità con caratteristiche che richiamano le epoche di giovinezza del modello sotto molti aspetti.
Un generoso manico in acero con profilo a U è avvitato al corpo. La tastiera, anch'essa in acero, presenta 21 tasti di tipo medium Jumbo con segnatasti dot neri.
Relativamente moderno il raggio di curvatura della tastiera, da 9,5 pollici, immutato invece il diapason da 25,5 pollici.
L'hardware, interamente cromato eccezion fatta per le tre sellette in ottone del ponte Original Vintage Tele, prevede meccaniche stile vintage e la tradizionale placca di metallo per i controlli elettronici.
Un selettore a tre vie con cappuccio tipo Barrel nero, che ben si abbina con il battipenna nero a singolo strato, comanda una coppia di single coil '62 Tele Custom.
I due potenziometri agiscono su volume e tono master, quest'ultimo di tipo No-Load.
