Anthony Jackson Contrabass is available from "FODERA", the highest peak of boutique base.

"Fodera" established in Brooklyn, New York by Vinny Fodera and Joey Lauricella in 1983
Vinny Fodera was also known as the first disciple of Stewart Spector, and made a bass with KEN SMITH from the end of 1970 to early 1980.
VICTOR WOOTEN / Anthony Jackson / Felix Pastorius and other bassists that remain in many other history.
The base of FODERA is basically customized, and we continue to provide what users want with the best quality.

In fact, a 6 -string base has appeared before a modern 5 -string base appears.
In 1975, Anthony Jackson ordered CARL THOMPSON a 6 -string base.
However, the first 6 -string base was made of almost 4 strings necks, and it was not the main machine because of the narrow strings.
After that, the Contrabass Guitar was born in 1981 and tagged with Ken Smith.

As mentioned above, there is no exact specifications of this Contrabass Guitar, as stated that everything described above is possible.
The 55mm nut width 3P Maple neck is bolt -on and is a heelless cut so that it can be played with the same feeling as through neck.
It is easy to talk about the sound side, but in one word it can be said that it is the finest and beautiful sound.
The neck is rigid, and even if you play Lowb, the neck disappears like a piano from attack to release due to beautiful string vibration without rampaging.
It is unknown where the secret is, but even if you play chords like anthony, the pitch is good in all frets, and you will feel like playing a high -quality acoustic guitar with less fluctuations in the pitch.

The neck is straight, and the string height is 12F, and the 6 -string side 1.7 mm 1.2 mm is set for about 1.2 mm.
Of course, the difficulty of playing the 6th string, but I want to touch it forever.
It is such a wonderful instrument.
