La ditta di Alfredo Menghini a Recanati produsse chitarre dal 1968 al 1980 inizialmente con i marchi Wonder e Daytime, in seguito GHERSON. Si distinse per le copie dei modelli americani più diffusi. Comunissima l’imitazione del diavoletto SG fino alla riproposizione della doppio manico alla Jimmy Page. Menghini fece probabilmente anche copie Eko. Menghini era uno dei pochi costruttori a realizzare pick-up ed elettronica in proprio.
