Gibson / 1963 J-50

J-45, J-50, which continues the topseller from birth to today as a flat top guitar of Gibson
The difference between the J-45 and the J-50 lies in the quality of the spruce used for the color and the top.
The J-50 uses a natural finish, so we use only those with good wood grain from the stock instead of using the sections with nodes. Therefore, the J-50 was more expensive at the time.

The J-50 made in 1963 has a regular neck with a nut width of 42mm, a head angle of about 17 degrees, and a plastic bridge.
In this, the head angle is changed to about 14 degrees with the narrition migration around 1965, but depending on this head angle, the sense of tension is slightly stronger than the later J-50, so it is playing long scale. Such sound firmness and long sustain are obtained.
In addition, plastic bridge has a hollow structure, so it plays a role in adding a moderate air feeling to the sound, and can maximize the "Gibson Vintage" that can only be tasted in this age.
In particular, plastic bridges are mostly distorted and are replayed by wooden bridges, but this individual is a valuable individual in that sense because it is firmly bonded to the top plate without gaps.

[condition]
The condition of the neck and Kibe is inspected and adjusted by an acoustic guitar professional craftsman, and all parts are good.
Although it is overlacker overall, it seems that it has been a certain amount of time since painting, and there is a checking etc. and it is a very stylish look.
The neck is adjusted straight and has no vibration or clogging, and the string height on the 12th fret is set to 2.3 mm on the 6 string side and about 2 mm on the first string side.
The swelling of the top is very minor considering the age, and it is a condition that can be used for decades in the coming decades.
