Gibson J-200, which is also called 'King of Flat Top', is still popular as a Gibson flagship model. It is an individual made in 1990.

This model was born back before the war.
In 1937, it is known that the popular actor and singer Ray Wittee and Gibson in the 1937 Western movies worked together and the production was promoted. At that time, it was also effective to produce and release a model of a popular movie actor as a promotion of a new guitar. Gorgeous decorations and large bodies may have been designed to be easy to stop at the eyes of people.

Since its release in 1938, Elvis Presley, Bob Duran, George Harrisn (The Beatles), Jimmy Page (LED Zeppelin), Pete Townsend (The Who), Emiloo Harris, Edge (U2), Ron Wood, Ronwood (Rolling Stones) has been used by many musicians. It is also known that Kiminori Sera loves in Japan.

Production is stopped once during the war, but re -released in 1947. The label was described as a remnant of the pre-war or SJ-200, but from this time it will be released as the J-200, and a blonde (natural) will appear as a new color variation. After that, Gibson specifications such as pegs, bridges, and pickguards will be replaced.

This 1990, which arrived this time, is an antique natural individual. Although it is a double line, it is one similar to the characteristics of the late 1950s, such as a cruison type gold peg, a no -border engraved pickguard, a watermark with a watermark, and a backstrip with a check pattern.

There are traces that seem to have been re -attached to pickguards, bridges adhesive repair, fine abrasions and small dents, but it is a very beautiful condition considering the age.

At present, the string height is about 2.2 mm on the 12th fret 6 string side, about 2.1mm on one side.
