Gibson / Circa 1940s LG-2 / 1940 / Guitar

Very Good condition, 7/10, no visible serial number, a true player where the neck+fingerboard have been replaced professionally and the entire guitar has been nicely refinished, also a new rosewood bridge and replaced pickguard, replaced tuners, the neck is done in the typical circa 1949 style with a large, deep and round C-shaped neck and thinning headstock (which was used before 1950), the back strip is a bit loose and bent but since it doesn t affect the functionality this has not been addressed, many traces from repaired cracks in the top under the new finish and also a filled hole in the top (probably from a removed volume control from a pickupsystem), including non-original black hardcase with winered lining

Oscar Guitars is today Sweden's largest specialist guitar store with a focus on vintage and used string instruments, pedals and amplifiers. In the store there is a constantly changing exhibition of stringed instruments from all ages and manufacturers, some call it a museum where everything is for sale.

The store is based on a vision that began full-time in 1997 and today, 25 years later, we are one of the the most famous vintage guitar shops in Northern Europe.
