Inspired by Dave Grohl’s long-time stage guitar, the DG-335 blends the classic Gibson semi-hollow design with several distinctive features that set it apart from a traditional ES-335. The Pelham Blue finish paired with diamond fretboard inlays and Trini-Lopez-inspired details gives the instrument a striking visual identity, while the semi-hollow construction delivers the warm resonance, sustain, and dynamic response players expect from a Custom Shop Gibson.
This guitar remains in superb overall condition. The finish shows a slight fading patina on the back of the body, something that is not unusual for Pelham Blue instruments as they age. This subtle aging adds character while leaving the guitar exceptionally well preserved for a nearly 20-year-old instrument.
