1967 Gibson Dove , a vintage guitar with a lot of character and mojo charm !
The FON number is stamped on the back of the headstock and is written on the orange oval label on the inside
The guitar sound really nice with a deep , warm , vintage sound. There's plenty of low end power and articulate top end attack to be had with the Dove, and the classic combination of a solid spruce top and maple back and sides gives the guitar great clarity and a crisp, dynamic tone. Whether you're fingerpicking delicate passages or strumming with authority, the Dove is an ideal tool, perfect for use on your couch, on stage or in the studio.
The headstock has its original Grover tuners the Gibson logo and leaf in mother of pearl. Original Dove truss rod cover.
Mahogany neck with bound rosewood fretboard with mother of pearl split parallellogram inlays.
20 frets in good condition.
The guitar has no need for a neck reset, very comfortable action.
The nut width is 40 mm, typical for Gibson acoustics for the second half of the 60ies.
The finish is original
Solid creack-free spruce top with 7 ply binding
Crack-free solid maple back and sides with lovely reddish appearance and 5 ply binding.
Original Dove pickguard
Original rosewood tune-o-matic bridge with 2 mother of pearl dove wing inlays and dots
Original braces and bridge plate.
The guitar comes with its original vintage guitar hard shell case, with purple inner lining.
