Gibson ES-175DN (1958) – Blonde

Offered is a 1958 ES-175DN from Gibson, finished in its original Blonde.

The ES-175 is a 16-inch archtop model within Gibson’s electric lineup, known for its laminated maple construction and controlled feedback characteristics.

This 1958 example is described as being in excellent vintage condition, with minimal yellowing to the finish and a well-preserved overall appearance.

The guitar is fitted with original “Patent Applied For” pickups. The remaining components are reported to be original.

There is evidence of a previously installed Bigsby B6 tremolo unit, visible at the tailpiece mounting area.

The instrument is noted for delivering a warm and balanced tone consistent with ES-175 models from this period.

Supplied with its original brown tolex hardcase.

A well-preserved 1958 ES-175DN combining original components, condition, and strong collector appeal.
