1962 Gibson ES-335

Black Magic Vintage Guitars is pleased to offer this exceptional 1962 Gibson ES-335.

This example comes from the first year of the block-inlay neck and is fitted with a particularly musical pair of original PAF humbuckers.

The guitar was used professionally for several years and has been very well cared for and properly maintained throughout its working life. It has newer frets, which are described as functioning perfectly and contributing to excellent playability across the fingerboard.

The original bridge is included in the case. A reproduction bridge is currently fitted for improved stability and intonation, using the original screws and saddles.

The PAF pickups measure 7.55k in the neck and 7.90k in the bridge. The neck has a notably slim profile, measuring approximately .80 to .84 inches, and the guitar weighs a comfortable 8 lbs 8 oz.

Overall, this is a very clean and well-maintained 1962 ES-335 with the feel and character of an instrument that has been professionally played rather than simply stored away.
