Now available on consignment, a 2002 Gibson ES137 Classic in Blueburst.
The Gibson ES-137 Classic is a now discountinued spin on the ES175. Featuring a single-cutaway 16" semi-hollowbody with a solid mahogany center block to reduce feedback and increase sustain similar to an ES335.
Specifications include a Rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays, gold hardware, and '57 Classic 'PAF' style humbuckers. It features figured laminated maple back and sides with a mahogany centre block, multi-ply binding, and ES137 silk screened on the headstock.
The guitar features a nice '59 style medium C shaped neck profile, playing with a nice low action. The guitar remains in good condition for a 24 year old guitar, showing some light buckle rash, finish checking, and some light wear to the gold plated parts.
A great playing and sounding example of an ES137, includes its original Gibson case.
