Gibson / ES355 TDC Mono Bigsby Cherry Red / 1959 / Guitar

FON number S7625 determines it's from 1959, with original PAF and very rare. The Gibson's ES-355 is the ultimate guitar in the Electric Spanish series and the big luxurious brother of the 335 and 345,  Clapton, Larry Carlton and B.B. King. The first production year of the ES-355 is the most wanted this is the rare mono version of the ES355. It means the switching is excactly the same as the 335 switching. Yes, this ES-355 is from 1959 and is still completely original. The 355 is of course very nicely dressed up in a cherry red finish with golden hardware including an original Bigsby, Block inlay, multiply binding on the body, the headstock and even the pickguard. In addition, this '59 has the original P.A.F. pickups that sound incredibly good. The neck pickup has an output of 7.6 kOhm and the bridge pickup measures 8.0 kOhm. This Gibson even has its original hard case! And it is in an astonishing good condition. This Gibson ES-355 TDC is in very good condition. There are traces of use on the back, including buckle rash, dings and a few scuff marks which are fairly superficial. There are some spots on the side were the lacquer weared off, some light scuff marks on the binding and dings here and there. The top has lighter traces of use and is actually very clean. There are some shallow lacquer dings, blemishes, a worn lacquer spot on the right horn and playwear on the pickguard. The whole body has a beautiful weatherchecking pattern that is only found on true vintage guitars. The frets are low, but can stil be played a couple of years. ABOUT US

I have always been opposed to being trapped into a job eight hours a day to purchase the free time to do what I enjoy. That’s why i started the Fellowship of Acoustics. The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood. The idea was offering real expertise when trading and selling the finest instruments in the world from our showroom in Bergentheim, Netherlands. Helping others find the right tools and enjoying an atmosphere that’s unhurried, honest and informative that’s my go. We are nothing like the "supermarket" style music stores, but specialize in string-things only. We are widely known for Flattop guitars but also sell electric, mandolins & banjo’s, amps, parts, and accessories. Our store has earned the reputation for being a great place to shop for the best products and service.
It is our hope that this new website - much more than a list of "gear" for sale - will serve as an example of our commitment to offering a more personal approach, a friendly atmosphere, and an ultimately more satisfying experience for our friends and customers.
If you have any questions just dial +31-523-232205 or e-mail info@thefellowshipofacoustics.com My name is Rudi Bults, and I’m always here to help out. Wherever possible, we would recommend that you visit our store and experience our instruments and service first hand. However, because of our high standards you can be confident of ordering online from us. We hope you enjoy your visit to our site, and welcome your feedback.
