Gibson / Explorer Tuners / 1957 / Natural / Guitar
1957 Gibson Explorer headstock template and tuners. From the original Kalamazoo Michigan plant (Not affiliated with the Current Entity of Gibson guitars) This came directly from the parts department from Gibson in Nashville in the late 80’s The headstock template has the Holy Veneer with a Mahogany base. It has an Original set of in-line Kluson Deluxe, Gold, tulip tip, large oil hole Tuners bushings and screws. The pearl “Gibson” logo is missing. These templates were used for placemat and tuner alignment, this is the only one made and considering what an original Explore is worth now this would be a crowning Jewel in any ones collection. Only Gibson Explores were equipped with these tuners in the late 1950’s. The tips are crumbling. This is a significant artifact of Gibson guitars’ golden age of the late 50’s
