Gibson Historic Division / Duane Allman '59 ** ON HOLD ** / 2013 / Double Dirty Lemon / Guitar

Looks to us like Gibson has righted the ship in 2013 and this recreation of Duane's '59 is a nice example of this new direction. You immediately get the mojo of this guitar the instant you pick it up and compared to the first Duane reissue, we have to be honest and say that this model has more of the "play me now" vibe. The craftsmanship is exceptional and the neck carve is fast and easy on the mitts. The color leans more towards a dirty Lemonburst although Gibson's calling it a Cherry Sunburst. Doesn't matter if they call it Led Zeppelin Reunion burst, everything about this guitar feels and looks right, which makes it an immediate candidate for our stable. We just acquired a stash of 9 Les Pauls, so all you LP lovers please keep an eye on us as we'll be revealing the new kids on a daily basis. As always, thank you for taking a few minutes out of your day to spend with us- we appreciate you all!
