Gibson Historic Division / Les Paul R9 Brazilian / 2003 / Washed Cherry Sunburst / Guitar

Here is the second guitar from the Great Brazilian Acquisition of 2013. It's one of the most beautifully figured Les Pauls we've ever seen and certainly different from most of the flamed examples you'll find available on today's market. It weighs in at a very comfortable 8 lbs, 12 oz and has a sizzling tone that matches it's good looks. You'll also notice that this is a very low numbered guitar in the '03 R9 run and this may be the reason for the exquisite top- Gibson surely had a better selection of Maple when they started these guitars and this is one heck of an example. The 3-D blister top looks amazing from any angle and the package is complete for the collector in you. Having watched these Brazils since their inception, we've noticed that not only have they continued to appreciate in value, they are in a price range that has plenty of room to grow. This is an investment- grade piece that you can actually play- try that with a krugerrand! Please call or email with any requests and we'll be right on it- thanks for stopping by 'Elkland!
