The Beatles are still the most influential Rock Band of all time. John Lennon, George Harrison & even Paul McCartney played a Gibson J-160E during their early to late 60’s run of hits. This is a real cool & clean 1967 model J-160E w/all Beatle features. Its pretty Sunburst finish is over a unique shaped double bound dreadnaught body w/round shoulders w/a nice Spruce top. Its dark stained mahogany back and sides are clean w/no cracks ever. Its 1 piece mahogany neck has a nice rosewood fingerboard w/trapizoid inlays. Its P-90 pickup sits nicely above its double ring sound hole like the Beatles 2nd set of J-160E’s. She sports her original set of Kluson Deluxe Tuners. The frets are in excellent shape. The original adjustable rosewood bridge is perfectly intact. Complete w/its tortoiseshell pickgard & chrome capped Gold knobs. It plays very well with an unusually deep, rich tone w/plenty of volume. It’s quite a clean example, very solid w/no repairs ever. Its excellent overall & comes w/a nice 80’s Gibson hard case.
