This is a GREAT one. 1964 Gibson J-45 in very faded Sunburst finish - excellent overall condition - with vintage Gibson hardshell case with purple lining - even has original case key, serial number 241xxx. This is a really really good J-45 - great and comfortable action, wonderful warm and intimate tone with nice projection, and she's in really nice cosmetic condition. For many years, this beaut had a vintage DeArmond pickup in the sound hole, so there is a filled and touched up area on the butt end of the guitar where the input jack once was. Totally pro cosmetic repair and touch up. Frets are in really great shape - some pitting in the first 5 frets, otherwise lots of fat left. The guitar's finish is very clean - some light checking to the top, a couple small dings, some light checking to the sides, light scratches to the back (very clean) - but for her age - EXCELLENT. Original Kluson tuners and adjustable bridge. NOTE: This J45 has a BEAUTIFUL BRAZILIAN ROSEWOOD FINGERBOARD - the grain is beautiful on this one - see the photos!
