Gibson / L-00 / 1933 / Sunburst Finish / Guitar

This is a special affordable player vintage L-00 just in, we acquired it from its original family members. Its been left striped, partially refinished but mostly unrestored w/a few, now, perfectly repaired cracks around its body. The Spruce top has multiple long cracks repaired w/an odd Dark Sunburst finish perhaps over its original sunburst finish. Its mahogany back & sides have been refinished natural at some point also having quite a few crack repairs. Its 1 piece fat V-shaped mahogany neck feels perfect after having a reset & a fabulous refret. Its stenciled Gibson logo looks perfect. She’s still sporting her original Kluson 3-on-a-side tuners, her original rectangle shaped bridge & its now sporting a beautiful 40’s type “striped” replica tortoise’gard ! There is a red pencil marking # 24 inside like a body code on its neck block. Truly an exceptionally great sounding & playing example of this early 30’s L-00 & certainly worth buying at a fairly affordable price point. In fact its tones are like a fresh tuned “piano” having every note just pop when played finger style or w/a pick. Its better than any small bodied Martin or Gibson we’ve had in 31 years in biz… Its simply Good overall shape but its an “11” in both volume & tone. Comes in an older generic soft shell case.
