This is a really cool & ultra rare early issue L-00 w/a gorgeous rich Dark Sunburst finish over a grainy spruce top w/some stunning Mahogany back & side panels. Its cool full sized 1 piece V shaped mahogany neck w/its 1 11/16″ nut width feels fabulous. Its got an unbound Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard w/pearl dot inlays & a matching bridge. You get a killer variety of huge volume & tones thru this small body. She is still sporting her original period open back 3-in-line Kluson tuners & its original fire-stripe Tortoise’gard. This is the very early 30’s’s made just after the Robert Johnson models w/a fabulous patina. She’s got killer sustain & tone qualities. This is the finest playing L-00 we’ve ever had w/super low action & a crazy cool feeling V shape. Other than some slight finish crazing all over & 1 small back & side cracks now pro-repaired, she’s excellent overall & a 100% original example, she comes w/an 80’s Gibson Brown reissue hard case.
