This Gibson L-1 is the loudest and most beautiful small Gibson we've had in the shop so far !
The FON (8904) dates the guitar to 1928
Vintage style correct tuners
Mahohgany neck with side bound RW fingerboard
The guitar has been refretted in the past (frets are in good condition) and the guitar just returned from our luthier who skillfully performed a neck reset.
Crack free spruce top with a beautiful cremona brown sunburst finish.
Crack free mahogany back and sides
Fancy RW bridge made of 2 layers of RW with a rear flange and a single small bridge pin behind the others.
This guitar has the rare H brace pattern specific to the earlies non arched Gibsons.
The guitars comes with its original case.
