Stunning Gibson L-4 guitar in quasi mint condition! It's rare to find a 75 year old guitar in such a state.
The guitar has an extremely rich and harmonic sound, vintage tone and impressive volume
Fully original except for the pickguard, which is a period/time correct replacement. Original mechanical parts of the pickguard are preserved.
Flamed maple neck , sturdy and well rounded with cream binding and tortoise shell side dots. Perfect and completely original dark Rosewood fingerboard with mother-of-pearl inlays.
Headstock with mother-of-pearl fleur-de-lis and Gibson script logo, which was the Gibson logo until 1947. Original open back tuners with cream buttons.
Solid spruce top with 3-ply binding and double F holes.
Solid maple back and sides with 3-ply binding .
Original finish with minimal surface scratches, micro dings and slight wear, not affecting playability or sound quality.
Original trapeze tailpiece with rosewood plywood bridge, missing strap button.
Non original Gibson Hard Case included, handle missing.
