This is a really cool & extremely rare special order L-4CES from 2001 w/a gorgeous rich Honey’burst finish over a squirrelly grainy “carved” spruce top & crazy curly maple back & side panels. Its beautiful flat wide 1 piece mahogany neck w/its 1 11/16″ nut width feels fabulous. Its got a white bound Ebony fingerboard w/double parallelogram inlays. You get a killer variety of jazz tones thru its 2 PAF pickups. She is still sporting her original double-line Gibson Kluson Deluxe tuners, its 4 saucer gold knobs sporting its beautiful Tortoise’gard. All of its Gold hardware is clean & from its wooden base Tun-a-Matic bridge to its cool L-5 trapeze tailpiece. Its got a clean orange oval label intact. She’s got killer sustain & tone qualities. Other than some slight play time & 1 long weathercheck on its top, she’s exceptional overall & comes in a nice brown tolex hard case.
