This is a really cool & ultra rare early production solid body L-5S in a very beautiful Cherry Sunburst finish over an explosive 2-piece center seam Flamey Maple Top w/matching flamey center seam maple back & sides & all over its 5 piece flamey maple neck w/its 1 11/16″ nut width, she has a volute & made in USA stamp, its got a multi-bound Ebony fingerboard w/super colorful abalone inlays, you get a killer variety of tones available thru its 2 Low-Impedence pickups, she is still sporting her original Kluson Deluxe tuners, all of its Gold hardware is worn a bit including its pickup covers, its bridge & its huge trapeze tailpiece, nice period chrome capped gold volume & tone knobs. Right at 9 1/2 lbs. She’s got killer sustain & tone qualities, excellent shape overall & a 100% original 1-owner example, comes with its original black hard case.
