Very first model L-5S in cherry sunburst. Gorgeous, clean example, that plays & sounds amazing! The guitar is all original. Beautiful carved maple top, ebony fingerboard, abalone block inlays, flowerpot peghead inlay, and gold hardware. Dual Humbucking pickups. Great playing guitar, with low action down the entire fretboard with original frets. Beautiful sounding guitar. OHSC!
The Gibson L5S was essentially a smaller, thinner solid-body version of the popular Gibson L-5 hollowbody. Like the L-5, it featured multiple binding on the single-cutaway body, neck, and headstock, and also featured an ebony fingerboard with block inlays. The headstock featured a flower-pot inlay similar to the L-5 archtop with L-5 trapeze tailpiece. It sounds great, deep and Jazzy but also Bluesy and Rock
