This Gibson LG-2 from the 40's is as sweet sounding as they come! An intimate, harmonically rich acoustic guitar, with a ton of vibe and a great "opened-up" tone as well as excellent playability.
A very rare piece from the Script logo periode with mahogany back and sides.
It has a nice solid spruce top with a nicely aged warm sunburst finish. It has the original Kluson tuners too.
This guitar is in a bit rough shape - a guitar that has been played and used throughout all these years. It has been repaired and professionally brought back to life. Some holes below the bridge has been filled and some braces renewed. Bridge plate is also new. It has received a neck reset too. The finish is original
The guitar boasts excellent play-ability with good angles. Notes just jump off the fingerboard of this one - is a great example of an early Gibson!
