Gibson / Les Paul 1957 R7 Reissue Brazilian / 2003 / Gold Top / Guitar

Holy Brazukus Batman! Here we have a stunning 2003 Gibson confirmed Brazilian rosewood 1957 Reissue R7 Les Paul Historic. This guitar is in excellent shape and only has a few minor dings that were near impossible to photograph, some minor worming on the back, which was also impossible to photograph. Otherwise it is very, very clean. They only did a short run of these Brazilian R7s in 2003 and they are quite rare. Acoustically it is quite resonant and rings very well. The nice big 50s neck just feels great in your hands, big and full. The fingerboard is gorgeous and has some cool figure to it. Weight wise it rings in at 8.7 lbs and is very well balanced. Tone-wise, it sounds fantastic. The original Burstbuckers provide fantastic humbucker tone, cutting mids, and incredible overtones. This guitar will ship in a Lifton RI case with ALL the paperwork, case candy, and COA. These are getting harder and harder to find in this condition. Don’t let this one slip away.

Year: 2003

Model: Les Paul 1957 Reissue Brazilian

Serial: 73138.

Finish: Gold Top.

Case: Lifton RI case.

Weight: 8.7 lbs.

Condition: I wouldn't go as far as to say it is "mint" or "like new" but this guitar is in excellent shape and only a few minor dings that were near impossible to photograph, some minor worming on the back and near the cutaway, which was also impossible to photograph. Otherwise it is very, very clean. I would personally rate it a 9 out of 10. Many more photos available upon request.

Comments: Fantastic example of a 2003 Brazilian board R7.
