Gibson / Les Paul Aged & Signed Slash AFD / 2010 / Guitar For Sale
The release in 2010 of the Gibson Les Paul Standard Slash AFD Aged & Signed caused a huge buzz, the 100 pieces were obviously sold out in minutes and one shows up for sale from time to time at substantial prices. These guitars are perfect, having had three of them (they were all to die for), I can confirm that these instruments have benefited from care and a specific approach to find the tone of the original AFD. Here is one of these rare Gibson Les Paul Standard Slash AFD Aged & Signed, with a nice number and whose COA is signed a second time by Slash.
This guitar is a killer, lightweight with only 3.64 kilos, resonant and obviously beautiful with its superb maple top and its AFD finish, which later became a reference and imitated by Gibson for a number of models, under the name of Slash or not. Equipped with Seymour Duncan Alnico-II pickups, this superb Gibson Les Paul Standard Slash AFD Aged & Signed has the number 25 and comes with its certificate signed a second time by Slash. Its former owner was the backline manager of Guns’n’Roses during their tours in Asia, and Slash signed the COA at the end of 2018 during a concert in Malaysia.
This guitar is in excellent condition, obviously collected and barely played by its previous owner. It comes with all its original hangtags and documents, its AFD original hardcase and of course with its COA certificate, signed by Slash.
