Its 1 piece mahogany body & neck compliment its tone qualities. It is a model that is rarely seen in recent years & it is a valuable model in that it is a Les Paul equipped w/a Floyd Rose Tremolo & very special pickups.

In addition are modern specifications such as a special cut contoured heel w/a slightly slim neck that have been incorporated to improve playability. The rythem pickup is a Duncan SH2B & the bridge pickup is a Duncan TB14. In addition, you can select a series or parallel w/a push-pull pot on each volume knob. In addition, the “Life-O-Sound¨ option has a normal 2 pickup tone & a piezo pickup separately when connected to both output jacks. This gimmick installed makes infinite possibilities depending on how you use it.

The story goes that Brian was a Golf Pro in the Chicago area. In 2004, Alex & Geddy, both being golf players & fanatics, met Brian who was the Director of Golf at the Olympia Fields Country Club while in town for a Concert & they became fast friends while Brian gave coaching tips to Alex for a few years. Alex liked Brian so much that he gave him his personal guitar, this # AL 006, given to him by Gibson as a test guitar, Alex also included Brian & his buddies to a few concert performances. Its truly mint & unused much by Alex & has been a trophy for Brian since he’s owned it. It mint & comes w/its cool Gold COA booklet & some nice case candy.
