Gibson Les Paul Custom (1960) – Black Beauty, Factory Bigsby
We are pleased to offer this 1960 Les Paul Custom from Gibson, equipped with a factory Bigsby B7G tremolo.
This example features the classic “Black Beauty” specification, with an all-mahogany body, three “Patent Applied For” pickups, gold hardware, and mother-of-pearl inlays on both the fretboard and headstock.
The guitar shows light wear consistent with age, while presenting in overall excellent-plus vintage condition. The gold hardware displays natural patina.
The original low-profile frets have been replaced with medium-sized frets, improving playability. Aside from a small number of replaced screws, the remaining components are reported to be original.
The instrument delivers a rich and articulate response, with strong harmonic content typical of PAF-equipped Les Paul Customs from this period.
Supplied with its original black crocodile hardcase.
