History: It was 1998 and at that time the second edition of the Disma Show was taking place in Rimini (Northern Italy), the fair dedicated to musical instruments that for 10 years in a row attracted countless enthusiasts to the "Romagna Riviera". At the time, Gibson was distributed by Mogar Music, Gibson's distributor for Italy, and thanks to this, there was the opportunity to have Zakk Wylde for a series of performances inside the demo room set up inside the stand, and he put his signature on this Les Paul Custom. Buoyed by his growing popularity, Zakk founded Pride & Glory, a Southern rock band that allowed him to express his musical roots while still being a member of Ozzy Osbourne's band. Unfortunately, Pride & Glory disbanded after just one album, and the next chapter in Zakk's career was a very acoustic album titled Book of Shadows.
