This 1988 Gibson Les Paul Custom “Showcase Edition” was 1 of only 200 made in this beautiful Ruby Red Metallic finish. It has the classic feel and looks we have come to love about the Les Paul but with a lot of beautiful added features. It has a 1 piece mahogany body with a maple top w/a super comfortable 1 piece mahogany neck w/its Showcase Edition logo on the back of its headstock. She’s adorned w/all black hardware to compliment its stunning finish. She’s got a pair of Gibson installed EMG Humbucking pickups that sound great. Its got 4 black speed knobs, a three-way selector switch & a Tune-o-Matic bridge & Stop Tailpiece. The Ebony fingerboard has beautiful White Pearl Black inlays & a tone of binding all over. Its Grover tuners hold tune well. She has had no pickgard ever taking away her majestic beauty. She’s 9 lbs. 15 oz. w/killer sustain & tone qualities. A perfect example for that picky Les Paul guy adding unusual pieces to his collection. She’s truly near mint overall & comes in its original black molded hard shell case.
