This is one of those Les Paul Deluxe’s that all of you guys hated back then but will luv this rare bird. Its original Gold Top finish is in excellent shape having no greening, some weather checking & a few dings. Its a very rare early example in its 5th year produced w/a larger headstock. Its original white bound trapezoid inlaid Rosewood fingerboard is over a 3 piece Mahogany neck w/a volute & a “Made in USA” stamp. It also sports an early 2 piece body w/a lovely grain pattern. Its loaded w/2 factory pat.# stamped Mini Humbuckers. She has her original pots dated to the 36th week of 1973. It’s original Kluson double line double ring tuners are still on board along w/its Cream pickgard & chrome capped gold knobs. Its original bridge was replaced w/a modern type but can be put back easily w/no mods. This is a great guitar for that guy that wants to enjoy it for the next 48 years ! Other than some basic wear, she’s really pretty nice shape w/killer sustain & tone qualities. Right @ 9 lbs. She’s all original & comes w/its original black purple lined Square hard case.
