The Les Paul Elegant is features great looks and tone. The body is made from mahogany with a triple-A grade maple top. There are open cavaities in the body to reduce it's weight while at the same time increasing it's resonance. They are called dynamic chambers and help to increase the guitar's interaction with the amp. Its see-thru faded Cherry finish is quite lovely over a very nice chevron shaped quilty flamey maple top. Its neck is quite playable w/a bit of a chunky profile bearing a very low early Custom Shop serial #. Its see-thru cherry red finished back, sides & neck are beautiful. Its got a super colorful abalone inlaid fingerboard. She’s equipped w/a pair of black & white “Zebra” PAF pickups w/its original pots dated to 1990. She’s had no pickgard ever installed on it from new as its top is outrageous. Its Kluson Deluxe tuners, nickel tun-a-matic bridge & a TP-6 stop tailpiece are quite clean & intact. Very lightweight too. Purchased new at Rubino’s Music, Sound & Lighting in Merrillville, Indiana & complete w/its original Black Tolex/maroon lined hard case.
