Yes, sir! Another Murphy Painted Gibson 1959 Les Paul! This time it’s a VERY rare 2015 limited edition of just 25 guitars for the Japanese market ONLY, based on the Beauty of the ‘Burst’s cover guitar, the Stanley Burst!
Every top on this guitar was selected by Yasuhiko Iwanade (author of “The Beauty of the ‘Burst”) and Edwin Wilson, and hand-painted by Tom Murphy.
Insane top, extremely tridimensional wide flames! It works even better with the Murphy colors, which are an absolute treat to the eye.
Very dark fretboard, and comfy neck, definitely a classic ’59 shape. The guitar has 2014 specs but is actually a 2015 guitar (shipped in February 2015).
Super light body! Only 8lbs 6oz (3800gr)!! I can not stress enough just how resonant this guitar is, it will blow you away!
Custom Buckers, VOS finish, and a TON of case candy come with the guitar. Includes all Japan import paperwork, Hand Selected COA, commemorative cavity plate and toggle switch plate, original shipping box label, tags, etc. NO, we did not forget the white gloves!
