This is a museum quality example of Gibson’s early 80’s period when they started making better guitars across the board. Its Cherry’burst finish is quite lovely over a plain maple top. Its see-thru cherry red finish is brilliant & she looks like she’s 2-3 years old. She’s sporting 2 pat.# stamped pickups, pots dated to 1981 w/a nice pickgard, tun-a-matic bridge & stop tailpiece. Kluson Tuners hold tune well. At this time Gibson was bitched at thru the 70’s for using 2 piece sandwiched bodies, but this one having a solid 1 piece mahogany body w/a great feeling maple neck. She’s truly near mint & comes w/a nice original molded hard case.
