Every once in a blue moon, we'll get a Les Paul and we can't find anything to not like about it. Well, it looks as if that moon rolled around again with this Les Paul Studio Deluxe. It weighs in at a perfect 8 lbs, 4 oz and if there's any icing on top of the cake, it's the neck and tone.
I'll be including an email from Josh at Gibson confirming that this guitar is one of the run of guitars with a '50s neck profile. I believe about 800 Les Paul Studios were made with this profile and this one is about as comfortable as you can get. This axe also has coil tapping for each pickup, accessed by two push-pull volume pots and this only adds to the variety of tones you can get with this guitar.
The previous owner upgraded the tuners to chrome locking Gotohs and you'll get no complaints from us about it. These tuners are precise and stay in tune perfectly, giving you one less thing to worry about once you hit that stage!
This guitar is very clean and the only mark I can find on it is a small, light surface scratch on the back of the body. It's been detailed and restrung with fresh strings. The case has also been vacuumed and scrubbed.
