1956 Gibson TG-50 Tenor Guitar - Sunburst

Nice and rare 1956 Gibson TG-50 Tenor Guitar in Sunburst finish in very good condition for its age (60 years!). The TG-50 model was Gibsons "top of the line" Tenor guitar back then, based on the succesful L-50 model. Some minor playwear and some of the usual weather-checking on original finish. The Kluson tuners had been replaced with Schallers at  some time, the original 4 Kluson "no-line" tuners are back on and work fine! The 16" non-cutaway body is made of maple and has an arched spruce top. The thinner 4-string neck is veryy comfortable toplay, the frets are still in perfect shape! Not something you see every day, the TG-50 is rather something of a rare bird. Incl. newer black hardshell case.
