Gretsch / 1962 Chet Atkins Hollow Body Model 6120 / 1962 / Guitar

Very Good condition, 7,5/10, binding in good condition, worn finish on the back of the neck, with original Bigsby (marked Gretsch by Bigsby), including era-correct (original? marked inside with the label from the music store where the guitar was sold, Taylor Music, which could be a case that was provided with the guitar when new even though it doesn t look exactly like the factory cases from Gretsch) brown croc case made by Ess&Ess, this guitar has been professionally refretted recently, replaced foam damper, replaced tuners (gold Gotoh) but there is a bag with original tuners in the case (might not be complete or work perfectly), we also note that the neck is poorly fitted (gaps along the edges to the sides) but there are no obvious signs of a neck reset so perhaps this is just how Gretsch did the work? has a stresscrack in the lower cutaway which is under the finish so this looks like this happened when the sides were bent in the factory as the finish is original, thumbnail inlays

Oscar Guitars is today Sweden's largest specialist guitar store with a focus on vintage and used string instruments, pedals and amplifiers. In the store there is a constantly changing exhibition of stringed instruments from all ages and manufacturers, some call it a museum where everything is for sale.

The store is based on a vision that began full-time in 1997 and today, 25 years later, we are one of the the most famous vintage guitar shops in Northern Europe.
