We have here a Gretsch Country Classic I, dating from 1989. The guitar is well-used and, given its age, has a number of marks to note, but is overall in good condition. These include a ding at the edge of the neck, as well as a slight ding on the top of the gear near the right F-hole and a small ding at the back near the binding; the latter two have not gone through the lacquer. The guitar's scratchplate has been removed, exposing the drill-holes at the top and side - See pictures. Usual bucklerash applies.
The instruments frets are in good condition with some minor wear which doesn't affect the guitar's playability. True to Gretsch, the action is incredibly low and is absolutely effortless to play.
Comes with its original case - Tatty and without its handle, but original nonetheless.
Well-loved for good reason!
