1967 Gretsch Chet Atkins Country Gentleman, model 6122, walnut. Made in USA, serial number 47690. This guitar is all original except for the missing mute. There are obvious signs in the lacquer from a sticker remover between the Bigsby tremolo and the bridge and on the back of the headstock. The binding is in fantastic shape, only the neck heel white plastic shows some crackling and was glued back on after it came loose. Has two very good sounding and well balanced Filtertron pickups! The back of the neck shows a little seam separation where the truss rod nut applied pressure, has been present for well over 15 years and is nothing to worry about. Great neck angle and straight neck! Comes with a cool vintage teardrop hardshell case. Weighs 3.75kg.
