Here we have a gorgeous 100% original 1960 Guild X-350 in exceptional overall condition. 1st issue model with very early specs : early stamped serial number (many Guild’s had no stamped #’s pre-1956) and an Ebony fingerboard. Dream full-feeling & straight 3-piece figured Maple neck (with a slice of mahogany in-between), white pearl block inlays. Beautiful figured Blonde finished bound body front & back w/a matching 1-piece back. She’s also sporting her original adjustable rosewood floatingbridge, cool gold capped knobs, its rare 6 push-button varitone switches (missing 1 of its switch tips) & its original black pickgard. All original gold hardware : minty Guild engraved tuners with diamond shaped buttons and “G” harp tailpiece. She sports a trio of amazing sounding single coil Franz pickups w/adjustable polepieces and cream colored covers (original windings and solders). The original white multi-laminated bindings all over are incredibly clean showing no shrinkage nor signs of repairs. Her minty original oval label states the Hoboken plant. She’s one of the best originals left in truly exceptionally clean overall condition & comes in a just as clean original Brown hard case.
