Hamer / Steve Stevens Rare Custom "Light Blue" Color / 1987 / Light Blue / Guitar For Sale
Hamer Steve Stevens model - Very Rare Custom Order color " Light Blue" or " Sonic Blue ".
I am a Hamer collector and I also had a close business relation with the company in the late 80s and the early 90s. I was told that they only made less than five guitars with that color.
Everything is 100% original in a very good condition for a 35 year's old guitar. There are no repairs! Sounds and plays great! The frets and the fretboard are in excellent shape. The case is also the original Hamer and shows light wear that can be seen in the picture.
A couple of pictures due to intense light conditions alter a bit the tone of the color ( somehow greenish ). However, all the other pictures show the true tone.
At the back of the neck, at the lower side, there are three small areas of discoloration as shown in the relevant picture. This does not influence the playability of the neck. Also there are two dents on the side of the body and one more small area of discoloration. Please see all the three close up pictures.
Finally, there is some light color checking at the neck to the body joint. I have included a close up picture. However, this is very normal for all Hamer guitars of that era due to the thin Nitro paint.
I hope my description is accurate, but if you need more details please send me a message.
