This is a favorite Strat of ours for over 30 years as Jim Hamilton has lived in the Ft.Lauderdale area since the late 80’s. It’s a replica of the one he made personally for Stevie Ray Vaughan while Jim lived in Texas. Its Orange Sunburst finish is absolutely stunning all over a fabulous neck-thru design w/a double bound body & 5 piece neck made from the finest flamey maple available. Its ebony fingerboard is adorned by its famous client’s name “Stevie Ray Vaughan” from 1 end to the other using some beautiful abalone. Its single layer Green’gard still having plastic on it from new is loaded w/some powerful pickups that simply wail thru any amp. Its Schaller tuners & its Tremolo work perfectly. This is serial # 507 of its small run & comes complete w/its original Certificate of Authenticity. We’ve known Jim & he tried to keep up with orders taken. He was always behind so he turned to an investor to keep him afloat to produce them quicker. This is not a new Hamiltone guitar made w/out Jims approval from its current manufacturer. Hence a few of these beautiful Strats were made by the Jims 1st partnership w/Jims approval. Its pretty much mint in all respects & comes in a nice hard case.
