1964 Höfner 500/1 Beatles Bass - Sunburst incl. original Höfner case.
1964 Höfner 500/1 Beatles Bass - Sunburst all original and in very good condition. This model Höfner 500/1 bass is pretty similar to the one played by Paul Mc Cartney with the small pickup-surroundings and the "Staple Pickups". The bass had a neck-reset which is quiet common as the neck comes loose over the years and a couple of extra strap-button holes which have been filled. The original perloid pickguard might have been reworked around the neck-PU. All functions have been tested and work fine, the bass is an real lightweight and sounds just great, a real fun to play. Comes in a orig. Höfner Beatles-bass case from a newer reissue model.
