The Beatles were the most influential group of our time on Earth. Paul McCartney was a very popular bass player & Pauls choice of bass was a Hofner 500/1 from the beginning as it was very lightweight & cost about 30 quid used at the time. This is a very clean all original Beatle Bass in a Dark Sunburst finish. Its equipped w/a set of “Bar” magnet pickups that have that deep dark bass tone like a Gibson EBO but it worked well thru-out Pauls career. Its got its original raised Gold logo, closed back tuners, a bound rosewood neck & a groovy white pearloid pickgard & control cavity cover w/gold capped knobs. Its all original & quite excellent overall & comes in its tatty original shaped black/green lined hard case.
