The Beatles are still the most well known band ever the world over. His famous 1963 Hofner 500/1 Bass is the most well known Bass on Earth. This is the guitar counterpart to the legendary Hofner violin bass. Made in West Germany and features a hollow body construction and built-in Fuzz and Treble Booster circuits ! Its Sunburst finish is still quite vibrant & has that Beatle Vibe. Its got the most beautiful flamey maple body we’ve ever seen on a 60’s Hofner of any type. The Bar Magnet pickups sound great and are full of so many tones. Its got a very fancy inlaid fingerboard & still sports her original mutha-a-toilet pickgard. The fuzz circuit is amazing with a classic “fuzz face” type of sound and can be used in conjunction with the on-board treble booster or each effect can be used independently. This is the non-trem model that stays in tune LOL. Its excellent overall & comes in a LP type hard case.
