1973 Höfner Model 470 - Natural
Undoubtedly the most desirable Hofner is the famous "Golden" which where made by Hofner for Selmer and only available in the UK. For the "Rest of the World" Hofner produced the 470 as their "top of the line" model, which looks basically like a "Golden" but has the 1" smaller Committee-siced body and the smaller post-63 headstock. It still has simlar features as the extensive Golden body-binding and purfling, as well as the beautiful engraved hardware, most beautiful flamed maple in combination with a spruce top, 2 Hofner "513 blade-pickups", nice to play and great sound. The guitar is in excellent condition for its age, all original and plays perfect. Including black hardshell case.
