Larrivee / L45 12 String Rose Lady Presentation Near Mint / 1992 / Guitar

This 12 string maybe considered a rather unique custom with all the fancy details, like the border inlay, the inlaid fingerboard and Rose Lady headstock inlay by mrs. Wendy Larrivee. A 12 string with perfect set-up and perfect looks, made in 1992 in Victoria, Canada, i think the "Rose Lady" maybe considered one of the fanciest of all Inlays mrs Wendy Larrivee made in the past, and it's sought after by collectors of vintage larrivee Guitars. And after 28 years it is still in near mint condition. The Selected Sitka Spruce soundboard shows a stunning "Silking" and the guitar is extremely projective and Resonant, Back and sides are made of very dark Indian Rosewood. The neck is made of dark Honduran mahogany and is very comfortable with a modest low -flattish- profile, with 49mm nut width, very comfortable feel and easy to play. The Fingerboard and bridge are made of dark Ebony, The body is bound in Rosewood, Top Purling is made of Abalone with a second and matching small purfling of ebony, back and sides show a 4 ply -maple-ebony-maple-ebony purfling, The soundhole shows the stylish Marquetry block inlay, the neck is bound with ivoroid, Peghead/headstock shows a beautiful and stylish German silver inlay, matching the Rose-Lady. The  tuner-Buttons are replaced for Matching Ebony knobs, but the original are with the guitar. Back in 1994, the guitar was extremely expensive, the former owner told me he paid €5500 euro for the guitar, that would be the equivalent of 7500-8000 now considering inflation. The guitar measures 650mm Scale (25.5") 49mm (1 9/10")nut and 60mm (2 3/8) string spacing. The guitar comes with the original 6 lock, blue lining arched Case. I have always been opposed to being trapped into a job eight hours a day to purchase the free time to do what I enjoy. That’s why i started the Fellowship of Acoustics. The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood. The idea was offering real expertise when trading and selling the finest instruments in the world from our showroom in Bergentheim, Netherlands. Helping others find the right tools and enjoying an atmosphere that’s unhurried, honest and informative that’s my go. We are nothing like the "supermarket" style music stores, but specialize in string-things only. We are widely known for Flattop guitars but also sell electric, mandolins & banjo’s, amps, parts, and accessories. Our store has earned the reputation for being a great place to shop for the best products and service.
It is our hope that this new website - much more than a list of "gear" for sale - will serve as an example of our commitment to offering a more personal approach, a friendly atmosphere, and an ultimately more satisfying experience for our friends and customers.
If you have any questions just dial +31-523-232205 or e-mail My name is Rudi Bults, and I’m always here to help out. Wherever possible, we would recommend that you visit our store and experience our instruments and service first hand. However, because of our high standards you can be confident of ordering online from us. We hope you enjoy your visit to our site, and welcome your feedback.
